Collection, processing and use of my data by the Institute of Communication and Navigation, Satellite Networks

May we, the DLR Institute for Composite Structures and Adaptronics, continue to send you information on dates and invitations to the ECSSMET 2021 or similar scientific events?

For this purpose, we would like to store and process the contact data you provide us with (first name, surname, company, department, position, postal address, e-mail address) on the DLR server until December 31, 2023. Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties.

This agreement is valid until 31.12.2023. Before the expiry of this period, we will ask you again for your consent to further data storage and processing. Of course, you can also revoke your consent in advance. All you need to do is to send an e-mail with the subject "Please no more mail and e-mails" to e-mail address:

If you revoke your consent to data storage and processing, you will automatically receive a confirmation e-mail from us and your contact details (first name, surname, company, department, position, postal address, e-mail address) will be deleted from our contact list.

Due to the corona crisis, the ECSMET cannot be held in Braunschweig in 2021 as a presence event. Processing via a virtual platform is therefore carried out for the purpose of carrying out ECSSMET 2021.
In order to reduce the risk of pandemics due to the corona crisis and due to the so-called corona regulations issued by the respective state governments, DLR and the co-organisers ESA and CNES are obliged to plan and organise the planned ECSSMET 2021 conference in such a way that direct contact between people is avoided in order to protect all conference participants. Therefore, the implementation of the virtual ESCCMET 2021 conference is the consequence of these legal obligations.
The virtual ECSSMET 2021 conference is characterized by the desired interaction between the participants and between the participants and the presenters and exhibitors during the conference days. As a participant, you can join the live the sessions, join chats or just voice chat, without video.

Each registrated participant can be identified in the virtual room by name and surname. Without this visibility no participation in the virtual ECSSMET 2021 conference is possible.
